The Care Takers at Frequency Festival, Lincoln October 2023 - performers Louise Cole & Carl Cole, photo by Emma Denby

Image Description:

Louise stands in foreground with her hands, in green fingerless gloves, clapped together. She has long dark red hair with a fringe and a head scarf tied in a bow and she is smiling. In the background, Carl, who has a beard and is wearing a brown hat, is looking down towards the Care Takers cart. There are festoon lights, bunting and a little lantern in between the two performers.

OUR ETHOS

We believe strongly in using the power of creativity to connect people and through playful interaction we aim to kickstart conversations about the things which really matter.

We understand that everyone experiences the world differently, so we make work which can be accessed in multiple ways, with varied points of engagement.

Our mission is one of social cohesion and connectivity; our vision is an open, tolerant and safe space for exploring challenging themes through creative practice.

Sirens in The Museum Gardens, Hull as part of Freedom Festival 2022 - Sirens is an audio-visual installation featuring the voices of female survivors of human trafficking, from Pan Intercultural Arts’ Amies Freedom Choir.

A large stone sculpture with turquoise dots of varying size stands on grass in the foreground of a walled garden. A smaller, similar sculpture is behind it in the distance. There is bright sunshine breaking through the trees at the top of the image.

Our skills

We are always keen to create work to brief as we enjoy the challenge this brings, therefore we are currently open for commissions.

Due to our experience in creating highly accessible work for public space, we are also available in an advisory capacity to help you to make your work more accessible to a wider audience.

We offer mentoring and creative development, whether for developing a project idea or just developing yourself as an artist. This may be in the form of funding advice, access support or strategic planning for your creative project or business.

We love to collaborate and work with other creative practitioners, so if there is something you think that we can do for you, please do not hesitate to contact us
