Louise is an Artist and Creative Producer creating projects that unite audiences by putting them at the centre of the experience. With a background in theatre making and multi-sensory work, she is most interested in creating safe spaces in the public realm that allow audiences to engage in difficult subjects with playfulness and curiosity.
Carl is an accomplished musician, composer and sound designer with a keen interest in the way that sound and music can affect mood and wellbeing to enhance creative experiences. He has written scores for film, created audio for a wide range of visual projects and now uses these skills to oversee all aspects of sound direction for Liminal.
Emma specialises in large scale sculpture and art installations. As a maker, she combines her creativity with her technical knowledge to forge ideas into artworks. Her enthusiasm for story telling in communal spaces is embedded in her practice as she creates playful works which encourage interaction and celebrate curiosity.
Kristoffer is a graduate of the Lecoq School in Paris and specialises in creating image based theatre in landscapes, le jeu and non verbal performance. Whilst in France he co-founded Rhum & Clay Theatre Company before leaving to work on a range of projects with companies and organisations including Tanz Theatr Pina Bausch, the Royal Opera House and the Wales Millennium Centre.
In 2019, Louise and Carl set up Liminal Creative to make high quality, socially engaged, creative experiences that blur the lines between audience and participant. Their work has a specific focus on removing barriers to participation.
As a collective they have grown in number but their core focus remains the same.
